Terms of Service
These terms are an agreement between you and Andres Arias (doing business as Leaguies) (“we”, “us”), who operates Leaguies, covering the Leaguies app and service. By creating an account you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not create an account.
1. Who may use Leaguies
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to enter a contract where you live. If you use Leaguies on behalf of an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these terms for it.
2. Your account
Keep your password to yourself and keep your account details accurate. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us at support@leaguies.app if you think someone else has access to it.
You can delete your account at any time from Me → Settings → Delete account. What is deleted and what is kept is set out in the Privacy Policy.
3. What you post
You keep ownership of what you put into Leaguies — your profile, your photos, your messages, your league data. You give us permission to store, display and transmit it for the purpose of running the service for you and for the other people in your leagues. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except where the Privacy Policy explains something has to be retained.
4. Rules
Do not use Leaguies to:
- harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone;
- post content that is unlawful, hateful, or sexually explicit;
- break into, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service;
- upload anything you do not have the right to upload;
- use the service for anything illegal, or to organize anything illegal.
Leaguies has zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You can report a message, a profile or your ratings from inside the app, and block anyone. We review reports promptly, remove content that breaks these rules, and suspend or remove the accounts that posted it.
5. Leagues, teams and organizers
Leaguies is software for running competitions. We are not the organizer of any league, season or tournament on it, and we do not run the games. The organizer sets the rules, the schedule, the fees and the refund policy for their competition, and is responsible for it. Disputes about a competition are between you and its organizer.
6. Fees and payments
If and when in-app payments are available, where an organizer charges to take part, payments are processed by Stripe under Stripe’s own terms. The organizer sets the amount and receives the money. Any refund is at that organizer’s discretion and under their stated policy — ask them, not us.
Where we charge for Leaguies itself, the price and billing period are shown before you are charged.
7. Availability
We work to keep Leaguies running, but we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change, suspend or discontinue features. If we discontinue the service altogether we will give you reasonable notice.
8. Ending your access
You can stop using Leaguies and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, or if we are required to by law. If we do that and the reason is not something you did wrong, we will tell you why where we are able to.
9. Disclaimers
Leaguies is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Nothing here limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits or lost data. Our total liability for any claim relating to Leaguies is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars.
Physical activity. Sport carries a risk of injury. We do not organize, supervise, inspect or insure any game, venue or competition arranged through Leaguies, and we are not responsible for anything that happens at one.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms we will update this page and the Last updated date. Continuing to use Leaguies after that means you accept the change.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New York, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts there will hear any dispute — except where the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts instead.
